I would like to introduce myself with an analogy to ultra running (running over distances greater than 42km). I have tried on my own skin that to confidently do this amazing sport and reduce injuries you need to diversify with other sports like swimming, cycling, gym, etc. This approach allows your body to be ready to the various pitfalls that this sport brings with it.

Well, I had the same approach in my professional life. As main work I'm a Senior DevOps Engineer (a kind of Software Engineer but concentrating on optimizing/creating processes) but in the meantime I tried to diversify. This approach I think gave me a remarkable boost.
