About me

I would like to introduce myself with an analogy to ultra running (running over distances greater than 42km).

I have tried on my own skin that to confidently do this awesome sport and reduce injuries you need to diversify with other sports like swimming, cycling, gym, etc.
This approach makes your body stronger and more ready for the various pitfalls that this sport brings with it.

Well, I had the same approach in my professional life.
As main job, I'm a Senior DevOps Engineer

🧠
What I really do?
Well, I enjoy describing my role as a recipe with the following ingredients:
* Software developer experience (front/back)
* Architecture experience
* Cloud knowledge
* Some magic / personal inspirations (to taste) <-- coming from personal projects/startup/initiatives

...but in the meantime I tried to diversify.
This approach, I think, gave me a remarkable boost.

Cofounder tech startup (mobile app) πŸ“±

I developed PimpMyChef mobile application (iOS/android) that with vocal search allowed people to find the best recipes based on what ingredients they had.
Under the hood there was a recommender system entirely cloud native.
We (me with the PimpMyChef team) had the pleasure to
* deal with a lot of stakeholders;
* understand how (and how not) build a real business;
* how a startup could scale and make the business real;

Networking πŸ§‘πŸΌβ€πŸ€β€πŸ§‘πŸΌ

I strongly believe in networking.
Human connections (physically and virtually) are the primer to build anything and I try constantly to train myself for that.

One initiative I'd like to share is Crispy Tech Tips, a shared place (mainly on LinkedIn group) where I usually post some hint/tips related to our DevOps world which may be useful also to other professionals.

Professional courses / certifications πŸŠβ€β™‚οΈ

I always try to read/study something new every single day of my life, and I usually do professional certifications to improve myself and team skills.

CEO / co-founder wine startup🍷

I was the CEO of a startup which aim was to boost old fashion wineries, mixing tradition with technology.
One of our client that I'm really proud of is Perelli Winery (located in the heart of Tuscany)
Before us, that client was an old fashion winery hidden in the countryside.

We developed from the inside hiring new professional workers (ex. winemaker) and after a couple of years we finally released our first catalog of products (red/white wine and oil).
Then we also opened the winery to the customers with vineyard dinners, social picnics, winery tours and so on.

An awesome experience where I had the chance to build a "product", manage people/projects and deal with daily pitfalls.

Sommelier course 🍷

Because I'm from Tuscany, Italy, I have to love wine (and all the process behind).
For that reason, I attended the first Fisar sommelier level.

Endurance Sport πŸƒβ€β™‚οΈπŸš΄πŸŠβ€β™‚οΈ

I always loved sports.
Currently, I'm training and doing ultra running competition.
Many dreams in my head.
