I'm finalist of AWS city on a cloud challange!
AWS City on a Cloud competition with PDENSITY project of Florence city
On June 2017 I applied to the AWS City on a Cloud challange with PDENSITY project and I surprisingly be one of the finalists!
Thanks to AWS City on a Cloud challange I had a chance to discuss my project with their teams and get suggestions from them.
The core idea was to monitor people crowd using AI over time inside the city of Florence, based on that send alerts and take better decision.
Obviously all architecture will be based on AWS and this is a preview of it.
Outdoor device
The outdoor device, that must be placed up to the areas, is simply composed by:
- Raspberry Pi2 or upper
- Raspberry camera
- 3g board with data sim
- Software (already developed using OpenCV to detect people, testing stage)
Future features using deep learning
- try to detect people age
- try to detect people gender
- manipulate these new data
